An Update on our Anti-Coronavirus Measures
The work-from-home period for all PlatinumGames employees, which began on April 8 this year, is officially over as of July 1.
However, all of our employees won’t come back to the office at once. Instead, they’ll return in groups; the first group will return at the start of July, with others continuing to work from home until their turn to come back. Most of our staff will be working in our offices again by the end of September 2020.
Employees working in the office will continue to strictly follow anti-coronavirus measures, such as wearing masks and thoroughly washing their hands, to reduce the risk of transmission as much as possible.
We are still aware of the risks that coronavirus poses to Japan and the world. As Japanese national and local governments have relaxed their suggestions to stay at home, we intend to do our part to prevent infection while returning to our full operational capacity as a company.
Going forward, we will continue to follow measures outlined by the Japanese government to contain the spread of the virus, and to continue operations with the health and safety of our employees firmly in mind.
As always, I appreciate your understanding during this trying time.
